The retail website (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Site’) is an e-commerce site accessible via the internet, and is open to any user of the network (hereinafter referred to as ‘Internet user’).

The Site allows Lounge Fabrics to offer for sale textile products and accessories under the trademark Lounge Fabrics (hereinafter referred to as ‘Products’) to internet users using the Site (hereinafter referred to as ‘Customers’). For these purposes, it is understood that the Customer and Lounge Fabricsshall be referred to collectively as the ‘Parties’, and individually as the ‘Party’, and that when a Customer has confirmed an order they shall then be referred to as ‘Buyer’.
These general terms and conditions apply to all European Union countries.
For orders made from outside mainland France, it shall be the buyer’s responsibility to check with the local authorities in their own country whether any restrictions apply to the importation or use of the products ordered.
Lounge Fabrics shall not be held liable for the purchase of a product deemed to be in breach of regulations in a particular country, when that product complies with French regulations.

Any order for a Product offered for sale on the Site presupposes the Buyer’s acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
Lounge Fabrics reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by publishing a new version on the Site. The applicable terms and conditions are those in force at the time the order is made.

1. Subject of contract

The objective of these general terms and conditions is to lay down contractual arrangements between Lounge Fabrics and the Customer and the conditions that may apply for any purchases made through the retail website, whether the Customer is acting in a professional capacity or is a consumer. The purchase of goods or the use of services through this site presupposes the acceptance without reservations by the customer of these terms and conditions.

2. Characteristics of items available for purchase

The items available for sale are those which feature in the catalogue published on the website. These items are offered for sale subject to availability. Each item is accompanied by a description produced by Lounge Fabrics. The catalogue photographs are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee complete similarity with the item offered, particularly where colours are concerned.

3. Intellectual property

All elements of the Internet Site, whether visual or sound, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks and patents. Similarly, all trademarks, logos, drawings or models which appear on the Internet Site are the exclusive property of Lounge Fabrics. Their disclosure can in no way be deemed to grant a licence or a right of any kind to use the aforementioned trademarks or distinctive marks protected by copyright. Their use is deemed to be copyright infringement. Our collection, and each of our models have been registered with the French Patent Office (INPI) as has our ‘LOUNGE FABRIC’ trademark.

4. Prices

We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and prices; however, there is a potential for error. The prices stated in the catalogue are in euros, inclusive of taxes, and take into account the VAT applicable on the date of the order and the country of shipping (France); any change in VAT will be applied to the price of the items. Lounge Fabrics reserves the right to modify its prices at all times, on the understanding that the price appearing in the catalogue on the date of the order shall be the only price applicable to the Customer. Prices include processing, transport and shipping.

5. Orders

The customer makes an order at the ‘’ website. To purchase one or more items, customers must follow the order process outlined below:
- Choose items and add them to the cart
- Confirm cart contents
- Log in to the website or fill in a registration form with all requested data or provide details as a guest user only
- Choose mode of delivery
- Choose payment method and accept T&Cs
- Confirm payment

Once Customers have confirmed an order, they become Buyers.
Customers will receive email order confirmation and an invoice once payment is received.
Customers, when placing an order, will be able to view at all times details of the order, its total price and correct any potential errors before confirming acceptance.
Lounge Fabrics shall retain ownership of the items until the order has been paid in full, and payment has been received by Lounge Fabrics.
Lounge Fabrics reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute over payment for previous order. Placing an order entails acceptance of the price and description of the items available for purchase.
Lounge Fabrics undertakes to honour orders received via its website subject to availability.

6. Payment methods

Payment for purchases may be made by one of the following methods, at the Customer’s convenience:
- By credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express) - Customers are told that if they choose to pay by credit/debit card they will be automatically transferred to a secure payment server provided by Crédit du Nord.
- By Paypal
- By Bank Transfer*

If Customers want to pay for their orders by credit/debit card, they must enter its number and, depending on the type of credit/debit card used, its expiry date and security code.

The server and the payment page are subject to S.S.L (Secure Socket Layer) 3D Secure encryption to protect all payment-related data and to ensure that at no time do the Buyers’ banking data pass through Lounge Fabrics' computer system.

* All bank transfers must be made from banks registered in mainland France. The bank details to be provided when you pay are as follows:

Items ordered will then be reserved for 7 calendar days from the order date. After this period and if payment has not been received, Lounge Fabrics reserves the right to cancel the customer’s order.
If payment is by cheque, it will be cashed on shipping.

7. Shipping and delivery times

All orders made via the Lounge Fabrics website will be prepared and despatched within two working days, subject to confirmation of payment received.

If the items have not been delivered within seven days from the delivery date scheduled at the time of the order, and if this delay cannot be attributed to force majeure, the Customer may proceed to a rescission of sale, by sending a letter by registered post with an acknowledgement of receipt to the address below: Lounge Fabrics, .
The amount paid by the customer will then be refunded in full.

8. Withdrawal period : Exchange or Return

Customers, natural nonprofessional persons, have a withdrawal period of 30 days from the delivery date of their order to return the product to Lounge Fabrics for exchange or a refund without penalty.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that items are in satisfactory condition. Any faults (missing item, damaged packaging, broken item, etc.) must be indicated within 4 days of delivery.
The customer must pay the return postage.
The customer must keep proof of postage from the service provider they have chosen. Without this proof, no exchange or refunds may be given if the parcel is lost.

9. Discount codes

Account holder discount codes: discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders. These discount codes can only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. These codes cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Promotional discount codes: we may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply to all or certain specified purchases through our Website. These codes cannot be combined with other discount codes.
